The minimum age to take part in the standard courses programmed by DILE is 16 years, with the exception of special programmes for school groups and the Spanish Course for Young People (summer course), for which the minimum age is 14 years.
Students from some countries outside the EU may need a visa to travel to Spain.
You should check at the Spanish Embassy in your country for the visa requirements.
If it is very difficult to obtain a visa in your country, please ensure that, before sending your enrolment and reservation fee, you consult the authorities in the Spanish Consulate about your possibilities of being issued with a visa. Remember that the amount sent in payment of the reservation fee is non-refundable.
We recommend that students take out an insurance policy in their own country, which covers the following:
Medical expenses (especially for citizens of non-EU countries)
Baggage loss, cancellation of travel, repatriation in the case of need and civil liability
Students who have requested this service must pay the fee in advance. The proof of payment and full flight details must be sent to DILE by fax or e-mail at least one week before the course starts.

This amount will be held in deposit against damages, and will be returned to the student at the end of the stay, on returning the keys, minus the cost of any damage incurred.
An invoice will be given to the student when he/she starts the course and includes the following items: enrolment (65 €) + course chosen + accommodation if you have requested it.
The amount received in payment of the reservation fee will be deducted from the total amount on the invoice.
